Now you will be able to track the intruder footprints. ref Reply #3061, Reply #3077.  ;)
The footsteps will be mine or Alice's. :)

We actually don't have intruders, just invited guests. :)

Dont tell me. Early Christmas present to self.  Enjoy :)
I wish they would make more compact smartphones instead of the ever increasing size phablet monsters that now seem the fashion.

Size of the Pixel 5 isn't excessive it's actually a bit smaller than my Essential Phone which this replaces.
I'm happy to see that the picture taking quality on this Pixel compares favorably with the Essential.
Here is last nights sunset taken with Pixel 5:

Another month of going almost nowhere.

Most of my time was spent sitting in front
of my laptop doing and participating in
Zoom presentations. (28)
This forum also took up a bit of my time during October. :)

Another month of going almost nowhere.

I can relate to that.  :(

I was thinking you could go snow shoe walking, but see the early snow did not last long there.

@bob, I am not surprised. Lure you in then whack you on the head is the business model of choice these days. I have always backed up photos using original resolution, so have been using up storage quota from day1. Maybe web advertising revenue is down?

This is not good news.
<snip image>

This isn't particularly clear.

How do they determine what are High Quality photos and videos, that won't count towards that 15GB limit.
For me does it matter if they are high or medium or low quality, they all need to be stored so 'space' is required.

In your image, it mentions "all Photos and Videos backed up before June 1st 2021 are exempt from this change and will not count towards Google Account storage."

To me that means from this date onwards your new 15GB limit starts.

All photos of High Quality are exempt up till 6/1/2021.
Those larger than their High Quality have never been exempt and have always counted against your 15 GB free storage limit.
