Is that snow? We're still having days in the 50's here which is very warm for the area.

About ten days ago in the UK we had the warmest November day since records began 72f - been having evening temperatures warmer than daytime highest - rose bushes are starting to bud and flower again. Lots of rain though.

Certainly abnormal for November.

Last 50's here yesterday for a while; more like November now today than all month.  Very unusual.  Stretch of 20's and 30's f for the coming week or so, that is the usual.  But forecast is to back to 50's again, so....

Yesterday I was in Buckeye, AZ for a presentation:

The community is out in the Sonora Desert and the temp. was in the mid 70's.
I'm scheduled to spend almost all of Feb. 2016 in AZ. :)

AdNauseam is a browser extension designed to obfuscate browsing data
and protect users from surveillance and tracking by advertising networks.

An extension for the Chrome Browser called Ho Ho No for those that don't believe
in Christmas or think the hype is starting too early. It filters many of the Christmas Ads and posts.
( This isn't something I'll be adding to Chrome. )

Thanks, bob3160, for the interesting info as always  ;)

Adnauseam plays both on Google Chrome as in firefox browsers.
The Christmas extension is a bit over the top i.m.h.o.
With us it was always that commerce waited until the 5th of December, St. Nicolas-day, a children festival,
before the real Christmas' Season began. But you know that they always start to produce cakes
and stuff half a year in advance, so that sets an urge to commerce to start early.
Christmas Fair season started Saturday last here and in Germany.

Decentraleyes

I've noticed slightly faster browsing in Pale Moon, Cyberfox and Firefox.

How To Fix A Corrupted Registration Database That Stops A Computer From Booting
Do not follow the guy's instructions. He says to use Hiram's Boot Disk to access the system. It requires you to change the SATA setting in your BIOS to use Native IDE. I have found out the hard way that if you do that (at least with Windows 10), the computer may boot once but if you go back into the BIOS and set the SATA controller back to using SATA therefore regaining the increased speed, the computer will not boot again and all attempts and methods of fixing it will not work. You will have to wipe the drive and do a complete reinstallation of Windows.

If you want to access the system through a bootable disc, DO NOT use Hiram's. Use another boot disc that does not require the SATA settings to be changed.
