A new way to remember where you live.
Three little words but, they may not be I.Love.You. :)
This gets you to my home. (Arrive unannounced, and you may not like the welcome.) :)

Need more Room on your Desktop ???

The default spacing for both settings is -1125. The allowable range for each of these settings
is from -480 (smallest space) through -2730 (largest space).
This is what the default spacing -1125 looks like:

This is what it looks like setting it to -800

Only ever shortcuts on the desktop!  The larger the Desktop folder, the longer the profile takes to load ;)

My New Ride (I wish)
<snip image>
https://www.automobili-pininfarina.com/press-release/pininfarina-battista-the-worlds-first-pure-electric-luxury-hyper-gt-revealed/

Personally I don't feel pure electric cars are ready for everyday use.  The main (excuse the pun) problem is currently a lack charging points when you are away from home. I have read many reviews and the biggest issue is finding a location to charge, then to find one that is compatible (lots of different plugs).

Then it is down to how long does it actually take to charge and this article boasts 450 Kms (281 miles), there is no reference to how long it takes to fully charge.

They say that most users would charge it in the garage, but again no information on how long this takes.

Charging technology    DC fast charging capability - Just how long is fast to being fully charged.  The next issue is the longevity of the battery packs and cost of replacement, etc. etc.

Do it like Norway  :) - now more than 1/3 of all new cars sold are electric. Here there are enough charging stations.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-01-02/electric-cars-on-course-to-be-the-new-normal-in-norway

But agree that the charging time is probably the biggest turn down at the moment.

I wonder how Electric (battery only) cars in Norway cope when it is really cold.

Hi, dear all,
new in the forum we just wonder if the provided information in german langueage is still valid or not?

The more precise question is: Is there any chance to buy shares of the AVAST company or contribute in any other form to the benefit of this enterprise? Can any body help and give more information?

This sort of follows my thinking that there is still a lot of infrastructure work to be done before your average person (less concerned with saving the planet, than saving cash) is going to purchase a complete electric only car.

Governments want us to convert, but really need to do much more about recharging infrastructure to be able to accommodate the numbers they would like to go electric to reduce emissions.

I love it when they talk about carbon footprint, yet no one mentions how that carbon footprint is effected in the production of the battery packs for these cars, how long they last, replacement costs/disposal and if they can be regenerated.

Still got a bit of reading/viewing to do.
