They are everywhere in our garden, too. But there are also tigered ones and they eat the dark ones! So, if you have the tigered ones, you don't have to shoot.

They are everywhere in our garden, too. But there are also tigered ones and they eat the dark ones! So, if you have the tigered ones, you don't have to shoot. 

I feed the birds at the same time, they pick up the leftovers

Dieting isn't easy.

For lunch, I have a roast beef sandwich on multi grain bread.
For supper, grilled chicken breast and a salad - lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and ranch dressing.
This is almost as hard as giving up cigarettes (17 years ago).
I'll be on that diet for a total of 3 weeks and see what a difference it has made when get home and access to a scale.

It must be tough dieting away from home, mind you if you have lots to do it isn't too bad.

I don't like the idea of dieting I did it a few times many years ago.  Having left the army and being sedentary didn't help though for the first four years or so I was pretty busy 14hr days, 51/2 days a week.

Now I pretty much eat anything within reason I usually burn up about 800 calories a day on my morning exercise, so I have a spare meal in hand (excuse the terrible pun)

The problem is that you may have a spare meal in hand, I'm worrying about the spare tire growing around my middle.
