I've hit the smaller size one with my truck. They fall apart pretty easily.

What Is AI (Artificial Intelligence)

I posed the following question on ChatGPT ( https://chat.openai.com/chat )
"Is AI really artificial intelligence or is it simply a smart algorism that filters or channels know data on a subject?"
The following is the reply it composed:
"Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think and learn like humans. While traditional computer programs are based on a set of specific instructions, AI uses algorithms and statistical models to enable machines to learn from data, and make predictions or decisions without being explicitly programmed to do so.

There are different types of AI, and the level of intelligence displayed by a machine can vary widely. Some AI systems are only capable of performing very specific tasks, such as recognizing images or speech, while others are more general-purpose and can learn and adapt to new situations.

One type of AI is machine learning, which is a method of training algorithms on large amounts of data to enable them to make predictions or decisions without being explicitly programmed. This is what most people refers as AI, but it's just one of the branches of AI.

In summary, AI is not just a smart algorithm that filters or channels known data on a subject, but a simulation of human intelligence in machines that can learn, adapt, and make predictions or decisions, using various algorithms and models."

To me, this sounds like a logical and very well thought out answer. Not like something simply arrived via a smart algorithm.
What do you think?

Ha, Ha, it has all of the hallmarks of AI or rather what AI is trying do do  :)

I think you may well have got a similar answer on a hit on google search.

General (or “strong”) AI
General AI is more like what you see in sci-fi films, where sentient machines emulate human intelligence, thinking strategically, abstractly and creatively, with the ability to handle a range of complex tasks. While machines can perform some tasks better than humans (e.g. data processing), this fully realized vision of general AI does not yet exist outside the silver screen. That’s why human-machine collaboration is crucial—in today’s world, artificial intelligence remains an extension of human capabilities, not a replacement.

The reply you received points out the fact that a Google search result is very cut and dry. Just the facts, nothing but the facts. ChatGPT gives a much more human or conversational response.

Improve Your YouTube Viewing
Simply add a browser extension to declutter the viewing screen.
Take a look at the difference from before to after using the extension:
The Extension is called Unhook YouTube. Get it here: https://unhook.app/
It's free and the extension doesn't require any unusual permissions, nor does it transmit
or share any sort of personal data. Lots of setting and choices as to what to hide or show:

If you find it helpful, make a donation to the developer. :)
