yes, you will be right David. There has been quite a few articles conveying much the same message over last year or so. Not exactly a steady stream, but suffice to say, reminders enough that the issue of 'big ad delivering platforms' unwittingly conveying malware, is still with us (and may always be).
I took some time out to read through my igoogle feeds this morning, something I do about once a month. In which case, the reminder often comes not from a media article, but rather from not being able to go back a page without having to clamber through a whole bunch of hidden iframes.
And this in an IT publication!!
