Browser Blowout 2010
IE vs. Firefox vs. Chrome vs. Safari vs. Opera:
PCWorld's lab tests reveal which browser is the fastest, the safest, and the most powerful tool for the Web.
In short, here are their findings:

BEST INTERFACE: Chrome
BEST SECURITY: Chrome
BEST EXTENSIONS: Firefox
BEST JAVASCRIPT HANDLING: Chrome
BEST PAGE LOADING: Chrome

You can get the detailed analysis here:
http://www.pcworld.com/article/200963-1/browser_blowout_2010.html

You may not agree as many others also didn't. I personally think they made the right overall choices.
( I use Google's Chrome as my default browser and have for quite some time. :) )

thanks for that link Bob ;)

edit: they're wrong about one thing, the sunspider test (for javascript performance) >>> Opera is actually now faster than Chrome, I've tested it a few times.

I don't know about that. Since Facebook stinks and the Google one is gaming oriented, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people move.

on a side note, I never said anything about who would move or how many...no speculation. But what I did say and do insist on saying is telling kenny yo to **** off, once again, you bastard. You're the worse sort of jerk that I ever met on a forum dude; you're always popping up with an insulting comment towards me, and now you're fighting back because I reacted...you're a freakin' psycho hey.

I certainly don't agree. I think Chrome's interface is the ugliest and clunkiest of all the browsers. If you read the report about speed, it says they're all pretty much the same and IE8 actually won 5 of the 8 page loading tests. What I get from the report is that all of the browsers are good and the choice is strictly a matter of personal preference.

Java script on Opera is better handled in my opinium, I don't know what they are referring to Best page loading.
