Yahoo to shut down several products, including Yahoo Buzz and Traffic APIs, in the coming months as part of restructuring, the internet portal said Thursday. "Part of our organizational streamlining involves cutting our investment in underperforming or off-strategy products to put better focus on our core strengths and fund new innovation in the next year and beyond," Yahoo said in a statement. All Things Digital reported that MyBlogLog, Yahoo Picks, AltaVista, Yahoo Bookmarks, and Delicious will also be closed.

The national debt is not "Interesting"...it is "Depressing", but there is (thankfully) no thread for that.

OK Bob...the $64,000 question. I won one of the AIS free keys...should I dump Kaspersky (KIS 2011) for a while and give it (AIS) a shot? I do like to compare but I'm a novice geek...still learning so I am leaning on my New Mexico neighbor for guidance!

Hello Rompin Raider
My simple reply to you is "Yes" I've been using avast! since 2003 and am now traveling all over this great country telling other why properly protecting your computer is a must and why I believe that avast! is the cornerstone of that protection.
I just returned from a 3 week speaking engagement in our neighboring state of Arizona where I presented the avast! Security Seminar to 28 clubs and almost 1300 members and the overwhelming majority of them where extremely impressed.
Remember, I only spoke to them about the benefits of using avast!5 Free.  You have an opportunity to use the AIS version which includes add-ons that aren't available in the free version. All the more reason to find out first hand what so many of us are so excited about.
When you are ready to make the change, please follow the instructions I've pass on to all the clubs I've visited regarding the proper removal of your current anti virus program:

How2RemoveYourAntiVirusProgram.html - https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B-vSic0iJgyeYTY4MGZlOWUtMTJkOS00NDNkLTgzMWUtOWZiM2NhNTE5YjRk&hl=en

Enjoy avast! 5 Internet Suit and congratulations on winning a free key.  :)

Let us know what you thing of AIS once you've made the changeover.

Thanks...I had an idea you might say that and I will do so...probably in the morning. Taking my son (home from college) to a hockey game in a few minutes (Dallas Stars). I hope you have a great Christmas and I will be back after making the switch!

Discovered a new search tool, that uses some of the popular ones and puts it into a more graphical look :)

spacetime3D.com

Since it is called spacetime, I had to search for a related subject, I am a physicist after all ;D
