I don't know whether to post it or not but its worth reading

Bulls..t.

Of course it was a false flag attack: it was Elvis who planned and did that, together with some help from Area 51 aliens, held prison at the studio grounds where they faked the moon-landings...  ::)

This is not a political discussion Bob. That would prerequisite a serious political topic. I can't see that.  8)
Or do you think the conspiracy-theory is a political plot...?  ;D  It's more a brainless yellow press like patter.

Interesting to see the kind of hits that my "site" generates...I know that there isn't much on it, but the top two posts pretty much each day are the avast tutorials, with them swapping between 1st and 2nd on different days...

I was actually a little surprised by the boot-time scan one to be honest...I suppose some people appreciate things being explained, rather than stumbling through maybe...

Everything else is ignored ;D

With windows 8 you will never loose your data as claimed by Microsoft.

Here is some screenshot of Windows 8 (its ribbon)

Windows 8 has a factory restore option, it will keep all private data if you reinstall it in case of any crash or whatever you only have to install application from Microsoft store

Interesting fact about IE9

I tested Chrome on this XP machine and IE9 on the Vista machine with the SunSpider javascript benchmark and IE9 was the winner. Chrome came in at 676.2ms and IE9 at 474.

I realize the OS may make a difference and the Vista machine has faster memory but only a 1.6ghz processor as opposed to 1.8 ghz on this one. IE8 on this machine gave a dismal 10230ms :-(  but it doesn't seem that much slower than Chrome on most pages. Only my fantasy baseball page is noticeably faster with Chrome.

I'll have to test Chrome on the Vista box. (If I can manage to sneak it on there and off again without the ladyfriend noticing) ;D
