False alarm triggered in PhpED 5.0 build 5025 installer
« on: June 18, 2007, 05:09:14 PM »
After complaining to the people over at NuSphere that they have a virus in their installer.  They state that this is a false alarm with Avast!

My logs show this:

6/18/2007 9:53:30 AM   SYSTEM   1536   Sign of "Win32:Trojan-gen. {Other}" has been found in "C:\DOCUME~1\rgagnon\LOCALS~1\Temp\is-R0HM1.tmp\NuSphere-phped-5.0-php4.4.6-Win32.exe" file.
6/18/2007 9:55:57 AM   SYSTEM   1536   Sign of "Win32:Trojan-gen. {Other}" has been found in "C:\DOCUME~1\rgagnon\LOCALS~1\Temp\is-R0HM1.tmp\NuSphere-phped-5.0-php5.2.1-Win32.exe" file.
6/18/2007 9:56:04 AM   SYSTEM   1536   Sign of "Win32:Trojan-gen. {Other}" has been found in "C:\DOCUME~1\rgagnon\LOCALS~1\Temp\is-R0HM1.tmp\Mozilla-browser-2.0-Win32.exe" file.

How do I know who is telling the truth?

Looks like this is same issue as other post here:  http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=28890.0

Please continue the discussion there as it seems broader in scope.
