Deployment question - File and Printer Sharing

Hello,
Does File and Printer Sharing for MS networks have to be enabled in the local area connection properties for deployment to work?
From my testing it looks like the answer is yes however thought I'd check here as well.  If this is indeed the case, it poses a problem for us as our clients do not have file and printer sharing enabled by default.

Yes, the deployment task does not work with File and Printer Sharing disabled. In this case some other deployment method must be used.
