Mouse sound
« on: June 23, 2007, 03:16:36 PM »
Hello,

I am a completely new user of Avast Home Edition and I have some problems with the mouse sound. When I am running through the avast interface, a sound appears each time when arriving on an icon. It is not a big probem but annoying. First, I checked the properties of the mouse but I did not find the solution. So probably, this is in the antivirus properties but I do not know where to disable those sound. Can you give me a hand?

Thanks a lot and have a nice day

Cédric

Which avast skin are you using?
You can change the sounds: Right click the 'a' blue icon > Program settings > Sounds > Settings
Browse to avast set of sounds.

I am using the "large screen" skin but first, I used the "SZC-KDE" but it was the same problem. Anyway, I have just done what you explained and everything is OK now!! Thank you very much  ;)

Cédric, I've asked because LCARS skins has embedded sounds that can't be disabled.
Glad everything is ok now.
