Hi Dan,

Why you should take down SiteAdvisor, for the same reason they would advize against scandoo.com. You know what the background is, they want to feed you all this crap unhindered and unnoticed, and it is all about loads of money. It is not the extensions, it is the users and the web site owners that making the Internet insecure, and the adsellers, and the profilers, and the spyware authors and the ugly spammers that they tug.

Hi what does the big pussy cat react to this:

http://yathong.googlepages.com/FirefoxFocusBug.html

Is it a bug or isn't it?

Thanx for the feedbacks, t l s and Tech.

I am testing SearchWith now.  It seems very useful, should save me some time and effort.  'Idiot-proof' is good. ;D
Oops.  I should have written something like ease-of-use not to reveal my "intelligence." :P ;D

FoxClocks is probably next.  Most of the time it will be unnecessary; at other times good to have, because some of my relatives and friends travel extensively.
That tells a lot since I like travel myself.

I have Google toolbar with other search mechanisms added. It's easy now, when you search a site, it is offered to add it the search mechanisms in the toolbar.
Thanx for the info but personally I don't like to invite Google to my FF to let it watch everything what I search and like to occasionally "flirt with" other search engines.  ;)

Hello Tech and others,

Did you guys already discovered this one: http://www.serevinus.com/vtl/
It gives a little block window down, that if the viral threat level is normal is green. That it is now at this moment, last week we had an elevated level for a couple of days. Nice extension, really..

I'm not sure how useful that extension might be, I generally take it that the internet is a high threat level and act accordingly.

Not only that it is a little young at version 0.1:

Version History
0.1: Initial release.

Not sure about visiting Symantec Viral Threat Level home page ;D so is this a symantec tool or just someone capturing their current threat level and displaying it in 'their' extension ???

I did my own hack to get it to work (without disabling the compatibility checker), but I have found that getting it to scan is like pulling teeth as there server seems to be permanently busy. So much so that I stopped even using it.

Hi Tech, I had to disable the compatibility checker to get 1.0.15 to work in FF 3, but it does work.
http://www.freedrweb.com/browser/  or
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/938
For me, even the download is disabled  ::)
