Delete the entry for ashwebsv.exe in comodo, this will force it to ask permission again, sometimes firewall seem to have amnesia even though an application has permission it is still blocked.

i tried that a bunch of times but heres a response  i got back from comodo forum

Most AV "web" shields interfere with connectivity when a solid firewall is used.  They're competing for resources against the firewall, and this typically results in problems.

Now what are you doing for a firewall now or have you reinstalled it, for the most part forum members haven't had any problems with it but some have.

I tend to stay away from beta releases for something as important as my firewall, I mean I haven't updated my firewall Outpost 4.0 as there are people experiencing problems with the latest updates and that is supposedly for stable regular updates not beta.

When a new firewall update happens, I monitor the forums to see what crops up and make a decision is it OK to update or should I wait until the kinks are ironed out.

I can't believe in such non-sense...

You did not solve, just run away from the problem.
Comodo last stable version is running perfectly with avast here.

I'm not that prudent as David. But in this case, I fully agree. Beta releases of Comodo could be a nightmare. In general, beta releases of a firewall are a nightmare.

Well... I won't suggest beta (and more than, alpha) stages of a firewall... to much problem to manage... Stay with the stable version 2 and be happy.
