New version 21.2.10510 of Avast Cleanup product has just been released!

What's new in Avast Cleanup product?

• A cleaner browser — Free up even more space thanks to our improved browser cleaning that removes even more unwanted cache.
• Even safer cleaning — We now automatically exclude some file types and locations on your computer to help prevent accidentally removing something you don't want us to.
• Developer settings — There is a completely new section in Settings which allows you to set up which parts of the product shall run even when the main window is closed.
• Update settings — There is a completely new section in Settings which allows you to set up how you would like to get updates for Avast Cleanup.
• Fixed - Higher CPU consumption over time.
• Fixed - System Junk removes Google Chrome shortcut icons.
• Fixed - System Junk cannot delete "Windows installation files" category.
• Fixed - Browser data scan got stuck during Maintenance.
• Apart from that, we fixed many other bugs and made under-the-hood improvements to keep Cleanup working smoothly.

How you can get the latest version?

• If you already have Avast Cleanup installed on your computer, you can just wait for the automatic update.
• Or in case you don't want to wait or you don't have it at all, you can download and install it from this link: https://honzik.avcdn.net/setup/avast-tu/release/avast_cleanup_online_setup.exe

I have it installed and have been waiting for the last four days for it to be upgraded automatically. Why would this not have happened?

I am sorry but we still distribute the update only to the 10% of users to monitor whether everything is ok before we will release it to everyone.
I expect that we will do that next week, however if you don't want to wait for it anymore you can always download the new installation package from https://honzik.avcdn.net/setup/avast-tu/release/avast_cleanup_online_setup.exe and use it to re-install your current installation of Cleanup which basically perform an update to the latest version.
