CANNOT RECEIVE E-MAIL

Hi I am new to avast after installing avast home edition I cannot receive e-mail with the e-mail provider running i am using outlook express with 3 accounts windows xp pro. i get this message :-

The server responded with an error. Account: '226', Server: 'pop3.tiscali.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR concurrent connections limit in avast exceeded(pass:20, processes:Rps.exe[19], msimn.exe[1]), there is a collision with another program', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90

any suggestions ?

It appears that you have neglected to uninstall previous software that involves itself in email scanning. 

The process as reported to you is rps.exe which appears to be part of Netguard anti-virus.  You need to remove this package which is inhibiting avast from working as designed.
