Connecting to the internet

I have to disable Avast to get a connection to the internet.
My system:
New .. eMachine T5062
Vista Home Premium

Processor:
AMD Athlon 64 3800+   K8
2.40 gigahertz
256 kilobyte primary memory cache
1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache
512 KB L2 Cache
2000 MHz System Bus 
32-bit Operating System

Memory Modules:
RAM installed 1024 MB DDR2

Hard Drives   c,d
160.04 Gigabytes SATA ll
7200 RPM
8 MB Cache

When I installed Avast I dissable my McAfee antivirus.
I have these Ok in my firewall
ashWebSv.exe
ashMaiSv.exe
avast.setup
ashServ.exe
aswUpdSv.exe
Have tried installing Avast three times .4.7 Home . no luck
says unable to display page ?

Any help is appreaciated . Thank You

Disabling mcafee won't be enough. You will have to uninstall mcafee before installing avast as there will be conflicts.
