which file do I use to run a scan auto within another prog?

I want to be able to automatically be able to run a scan once a download is complete in a my torrent programe. I used to be able to work it with norton, the torrent prog has the ability to do this but I can not tell which of the avast files I need to tell it to run

default location C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4 "ashQuick.exe"

Which is your torrent program?
Isn't it protected by avast IM provider?
If you have doubt, Tednelly is saying: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashQuick.exe
