Exactly... closer to the payday  It doesn't play any difference when I want to buy something, but I'm thinking globally. If I saved that money for that particular product, and I left it on the side, regardless of what date is, it's going to be mine

  Well he would have to be involved in the development or marketing in some way because other than them no one knows. There are lots of times a new product is annouced and the customers know about it before the Retail people do, Apple is just that tight-lipped

Seems like the new iMac is not going to couple with Mac OS X Leopard till next year! That's why Apple has that Leopard Up-to-Date Program!

Anyway I've placed an order, but it's gonna take 2-3 weeks!

The Leopard up-to-date program lasts until next year because there are lots of units that still have tiger on them in the stores. Anyone who buys one of those Macs will want leopard hence the program.

I knew Leopard is coming out sometime in October, but I simply couldn't wait 

Even though Leopard price is not high at all, I still feel like Apple could be a little more flexible... I mean, I paid for my new iMac (Tiger installed), purchased it mid August... still, only if you bought your unit on October 1st or after, you are eligible for totally inexpensive upgrade. This way, I have to pay full price and my Mac is still hot    Not like I'm complaining, just a thought. 

C'mon Apple ! Reward us Windows "converts" !
