VMware is out of question that's for sure.

Why? Don't you think it's a very good application for testing into a virtual environment?

Although I never tried it I've heard that it's pretty slow. I've seen how BootCamp works here on my buddy's MacBookPro and all I can say I was amazed.

It really depends on your processor and RAM.
It could be comfortable in a powerful computer.

Unfortunately, we don't have the opposite... we're not allowed to run Mac in a virtual environment of Windows.

Thanks Kyle, you have no idea how excited I am. I am just too afraid at this point I will have to wait in line to be able to do some work on my new iMac... my wife is crazy about it and I simply had to throw her a candy in our bedroom, so I can steal this chair and do some testing... 

And OMG... the smell of this new computer is something unbelievable, something out of this world. I completely forgot what a wonderful feeling that is. Last time I felt it was when I got my first Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K. Not a single PC box smelled this good... "burning chips" smell. Oh this indeed brings some wonderful memories back...

Don't know if this is proper place to ask, but I have a Gateway computer with a Gateway Windows XP operating system disk.  If I got a MAC when Leopard comes out, would I be able to use my Gateway Windows XP disk to install Windows into BootCamp?
I have been thinking about going back to a Mac for years.  In fact my first computer was a Apple Macintosh 512K.  I switched to PC because of the lack of Applications at the time I upgraded.  Now I have all these Microsoft compatible apps and was afraid that I would lose the use of them.  BootCamp is a wonderful idea!

From Apples site:

You’ll need XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 2, WIndows Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, or Ultimate. (No upgrade or multi-disc versions).

So I assume as long as it is a actual Windows Installation Disc (and not just a restore image) and it includes SP2 it would work
