The latest version of Netscape accepts most of
the plugins we've becom accustomed to from Firefox
but it does a lot more.
It's worth checking out IMHO. :)

FYI. I am using Netscape Navigator version 9.0b2 as I type this. I was and did download the latest version of "No Script" and also the latest version of "Dr. Web" link checker. Netscape seems to work just fine on my machine and does have some nice extra features. This version DOES NOT have the built-in e-mail program as do the earlier versions, but that's fine with me anyway. I am going to check Netscape out for a few days and see how things go.  ;D Seems like a fairly fast browser as compared to the other Mozilla browsers I have on my pc.  After downloading Netscape I checked in the add/remove programs to see its size. It is 20.23 mb in size.
This size compares with "Flock 27.48mb" and "Firefox 27.38mb" on my pc.
I chose the "standard" version of Netscape to use.  ;)

Here is where I went to get the extensions for Netscape: CLICK HERE . I have these extensions which all work: "Bandwidth meter and Diagnostics 1.1, Dr. Web Link checker 1.0.14, Forecast Fox l10n, No Script 1.1.6.12, and translator 1.0.4.3.
These extensions were for Firefox 2 but work fine with Netscape.  ;)

I'm probably a little OT here -- but I've often found that the size shown in Add-Remove (and nearly always the "Last used" shown there) seems to bear little or no relation to the actual installation.
