Cannot switch off your annoying popups

I made the mistake of trialling a couple of your paid for products alongside the free AV. Now I cannot switch off the pop-ups that invade my screen in what seems like every hour of the day!!!!!

I tried going to settings and ticking Silent Mode, turn off all pop-ups, alerts and messages, but that hasn't worked. I am on the verge of just uninstalling this to get rid of them!

You can disable the ads in the paid versions: Avast GUI -> Settings -> Personal Privacy

I don't have the paid version. I paid for a couple of add-ons which I then cancelled and since then I am being plagued constantly with their damn adverts appearing on my screen when I least want them.

I tried the 'silent mode' but that's about as much use as a chocolate fireguard!

Uninstall the tools if you don't use/need them anymore.
