Every now and again when I visit websites I'll keep getting popups from Avast telling me that they've terminated a connection to Cleanwoods.org even though I've never visited this website. Not seen this issue anywhere else, can someone help?

You don't have to initiate the visit, sites could have third party links to it, which would trigger it.

Have you added a new browser add-on or have recently updated one, that could be trying to connect to this site ?

Avast isn't alone in flagging this domain, https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/7287faafcb3754c90ba0709e25a3e5badeb106f441925cdffc6e15c46b465a32/detection

Oh that's interesting, never thought about that. No new extensions that I'm aware of but I'm going to check now just to make sure an extension hasn't snuck in

You could also try browsing with add-ons disabled on your browser and see if it still happens.

If so:
1.  Can you take a screenshot of Avast alert window (with the More Details option opened) and attach it to your next post.
2.  Try another browser for a short time.
