There is a possibility that the process is hidden.

Check out these anti-rootkit tools and see what is found.
- BlackLight - It can detect rootkits like Rootkit Revealer but can also remove them. http://www.f-secure.com/blacklight/
- Panda Rootkit Cleaner - http://research.pandasoftware.com/blogs/images/AntiRootkit.zip.
- AVG ANTI-ROOTKIT - AVG Anti-Rootkit http://free.grisoft.com/doc/avg-anti-rootkit-free/lng/us/tpl/v5.
Also see, anti-rootkit, detection, removal & protection http://www.antirootkit.com/software/index.htm.

If anything is found (also send files to avast, see below) then try these.
If you haven't already got this software (freeware), download, install, update and run it, preferably in safe mode.
If using winXP AVG anti-spyware (formerly Ewido) Resident scanner during trial On-Demand after trial ends. Or SUPERantispyware On-Demand only in free version. Or Spyware Terminator Resident scanner.

Send the sample to virus@avast.com zipped and password protected with password in email body and false positive/undetected malware in the subject.

Or you can also add the file to the User Files (File, Add) section of the avast chest where it can do no harm and send it from there (select the file, right click, email to Alwil Software). No need to zip and PW protect when the sample is sent from chest. A copy of the file/s will remain in the original location, so any further action you take can remove that.

Ativir,avast,avg,nod32,kasperksy
I suppose you've used once at a time.
If a virus is replicant (coming and coming again), you could follow the general cleaning procedure:

1. Disable System Restore on Windows ME or Windows XP. System Restore cannot be disabled on Windows 9x and it's not available in Windows 2k. After boot you can enable System Restore again after step 3.

2. Clean your temporary files. You can use CleanUp or the Windows Advanced Care features for that.

3. It will be good if you download, install, update and run the antispyware posted by David. If any infection is detected, better and safer is send the file to Quarantine than to simple delete than.

4. If you still detecting any strange behavior or even you're sure you're not clean, maybe it will be good to test your machine with anti-rootkit applications. I suggest AVG, Panda and/or F-Secure BlackLight.

5. Also, if you still detecting strange behaviors or you want to be sure you're clean, maybe making a HijackThis log to post here and, specially, scan and submit to on-line analysis the RunScanner log would help to identify the problem and the solution.

6. After you're clean, use the immunization of SpywareBlaster or, which is better, the Windows Advanced Care features of spyware/adware cleaning and removal.

7. Finally, when you're clean, check for insecure applications with Secunia Software Inspector to update insecure applications and avoid reinfection.
The best things in life are free.

Hi wdh2313,

You are using an old version of HJT the latest is now 2.0.0.2, a link for the zip file was in the two URLs given by Tech and FWF.

You also chopped of some of the header info, OS details, etc. but It would appear your OS is also out of date (unless this is reported because of the incomplete header information).

A newer version of service pack is available. Service packs increase the safety of your system. Visit Microsoft's windowsupdate site to download the newest version of the service pack.

Other than that I can't see anything obvious. This could be because of a couple of things.
1. The malware can detect and evade hijackthis.exe, so it is wise to rename the exe file to something like hjt-v-20.exe, etc. you have also installed HJT on the Desktop this isn't recommended, create an HJT folder like C:\HJT I suggest you read the tutorial link that was given before downloading and installing the latest version.

Program & Tutorial - Also useful as a diagnostic tool - FileHippo Download - HiJackThis - HJT Information HiJackThis Tutorial 1

2. There may well be something hiding the spambot trojan (a rootkit).
Also see, anti-rootkit, detection, removal & protection http://www.antirootkit.com/software/index.htm. These ones seem to have more success on detection and dealing with rootkits and are more user friendly.

- BlackLight - It can detect rootkits like Rootkit Revealer but can also remove them. http://www.f-secure.com/blacklight/
- Panda Rootkit Cleaner - http://research.pandasoftware.com/blogs/images/AntiRootkit.zip.
- AVG ANTI-ROOTKIT - AVG Anti-Rootkit http://free.grisoft.com/doc/avg-anti-rootkit-free/lng/us/tpl/v5.

I'm at a loss as to what else to suggest as the other anti-rootkit tools on the antirootkit.com site usually require specialist analysis or you can do more harm than good.

How is it that you know the emails are being sent, is it avast's heuristic detection in alerts to multiple identical emails, etc. ?

Does Comodo not challenge unauthorised outbound connections ?
Perhaps increasing the protection sensitivity/levels might challenge these outbound connections (sorry I don't use comodo so can't help practically).

Sorry I don't see anything different in the new log.
Why do you keep chopping the header information out of the HJT logs ?
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.824) UI 1.0.799/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

I did't answer you being i need serious people who want to help not stupid questions. By the way no i don't have them all running at the same time lol. I downloaded and trial the products just to get rid of this virus they all can't find it. Which shocks the crap out of me that none can find it,even the anti-roots and spyware programs can't. I've downloaded and  try them all...

Well, it was not a stupid question as I was being serious. If these are all on your computer, running or not, that could be part of the problem. I do not know you nor how much you know about computers ... but obviously not enough. Many come here who have no idea about not having more than one av service. How do I know you are not one of those? Nor do you know me or how much I know about computers. Now, you will never know.

But, that's ok. You will not have to worry about having my help again ... no matter how screwed up your computer gets. Even if I do know the answer, you will not get it from me.

As far as I am concerned, you have shot yourself in the foot. Have a good life.
