dyfucdldr-b and ncasespy

a co worker was hit with this combo this morning. And it's really screwing up her machine. She runs XP. I have installed avast and run it. It 'deleted' the files it found on the initial scan, but since they are trojans they keep re-perpetuating themselves.

I did a google search and AVAST is the only site that comes up with information on these two. I downloaded the cleaner and ran it while in safe mode, it's still there.

Any ideas?!

1st one is also known as Downloader.Dyfuca, TrojanDownloader.Win32.Dyfuca.

2nd one you mentioned is called Ncase Spy.

Both are spy-/addware. You can remove them by running progs like Ad-Aware (www.lavasoftusa.com) Spybot s&d (security.kolla.de) TheCleaner (www.moosoft.com) CwSchredder and Hijackthis (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html)

I suggest you get the 1st two I mentioned. Update their databases and run them. Then reboot and see if the problem is solved.
If not try the others.

Thanks...I did as you suggested and now things appear to be running normally.
