I tried using my Nokia cellphone as high-speed modem and surfed with Opera.
All is well until going to wap.gemal.dk and ask them to show my HTTP headers:
Here is a partial result from my screenshot:
HTTP_ACCEPT=text/html, application/xml;q=0.9, application/xhtml+xml, image/png, image/jpeg, image/gif, image/x-xbitmap, */*;q=0.1, text/vnd.wap.wml, image/vnd.wap.wbmp; level=0
HTTP_ACCEPT_CHARSET=iso-8859-1, utf-8, utf-16, *;q=0.1
HTTP_ACCEPT_ENCODING=deflate, gzip, x-gzip, identity, *;q=0
HTTP_CONNECTION=Keep-Alive, TE
HTTP_HOST=wap.gemal.dk
HTTP_TE=deflate, gzip, chunked, identity, trailers
HTTP_USER_AGENT=Opera/9.23 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en)
HTTP_X_NOKIA_IPADDRESS=99.999.999.99
.
.
.
HTTP_X_NOKIA_MSISDN=49999999 (My cellphone-number with country-code)
What concerns me is that HTTP_X_NOKIA_MSISDN really shows my cellphone-number.
I understand that this is a wap-site and not a http-site, but as far as I can understand the headers must be there all the time??
How can I be sure that my phone number can not be picked up by a HTTP-site?
As far as I can understand this header must be there all the time?
Thanks
