Secure Browser and SecureLine VPN
« on: September 21, 2021, 07:57:36 PM »
I have Avast Secure Browser and run SecureLine VPN. In the Browser I see a VPN crossed out and when I look at the VPN symbol it says "Your connection is not encrypted...". SecurLine says it's connected. So two questions.
Is my Avast Secure Browser connection encrypted?
and
Should I cancel SecureLine and opt for Secure Browser VPN?

Secure Browser VPN only protects whatever you do in that browser.
SecureLine protects everything you do on-line when it's turned on
That would include the secure Browser or any other browser and online activity.

Thank You Very Much. That makes sense to me, now if only I could figure out how to get rid of the  VPN icon in my search bar...

Never Mind, I found it.
