Still having trouble running AVAST!.

Suppose i want to test whether a certain floppy is virus-free.  Just what do i do to make that test? ...wdc

Run Simple interface,insert floppy into drive and select Removable Media Icon (Floppy&CD) than select only Floppy on new tab. Select sensitivity and click Play button ;)

or right click [A:\ ] drive in windows explorer and select scan A:\
