Avast Premium Security "Resolve" advanced issues

How does Avast Premium Security "resolve" Advanced Issues: Sensitive items prime targets for attack" ? There are files listed that I don't want to lose access to, but am reluctant to hit "resolve" because I don't know what that will do.

When running SMART SCAN and you click on "...sensitive items..." (under Advanced issues), you will generally see a list of documents. If you click on "RESOLVE" Ransomware Shield and Sensitive Data Shield will protect these files.
