Outdated drivers
« on: October 05, 2021, 09:30:51 PM »
Avast states I have 3 outdated drivers, despite numerous attempts to update (each time it says they are updated) when I click on home page after updating they're still outdated.
Just going round in circles here with this, can anyone help please?

Have you don a restart of your system?
Not shut down and start but a Re-Start.

I've reported your problem to Avast. Let's see if that helps.

Hello,

First of all let me sincerely apologize for all troubles associated with usage of our product.
This is not intentional behavior.

In order to be able to help you I would like to ask you to send the log files so we can investigate where the problem is.
You can simply send them by executing our log collector utility from this path C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Driver Updater\dulogcollector.exe and once the logs are collected they will be automatically sent to our server.
Once it is done, please send me your email address you have used there into PM so we can join the logs with your report here.

Thank you.

Is there any update on this? I still can't update those 3 drivers. I checked today and had 5 (inc those 3) so I tried updating and it sucessfully updated the 2 new ones, but still left the 3 problem ones  :(

Hi,

We are still working on a solution for this bug although we have probably identified the root cause of it.
Basically these are additional rather software components and other supporting apps not drivers per say and as such they should not be listed at all.

Please ignore them for a moment until we have a fix which will remove them from the list.

I will let you know when the new version including the fix will be ready.

Thank you!

Merci.
