Can "AVAST Premium Security" block a Windows-10 Start Up App?
« on: October 09, 2021, 12:30:48 PM »
Hi Everybody,

I use a third-party application (Calendarscope from Duality Software) on a Microsoft-10 desktop. That application should automatically start each time I turn my desktop "ON".
That Start Up option can be managed from several different points in the O/S:

1) Calendarscope    Tools > Options > Startup Options

2) Windows-10 > Settings > Apps > Startup Apps

3) Windows-10 >Users > (me) >AppData > Roaming > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > Programs > Startup

The options are turned "ON" at each location.
The app does not start when I turn "ON" the desktop. It can only execute manually.

Is there somwhere/something in Avast Premium Security that blocks this?

Regards,
Paul
Many Thanks,
Paul

Hi, as you can start the app manually, probably not.
