blocking Amazon customer service (chat help)

I'm on a mac with Avast free antivirus.
I'm was unable to contact Amazon customer support (chat help) until I uninstalled Avast. https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/contact-us/s.
I got an error message generated by Amazon. https://becomethesolution.com/amazon-sorry-something-went-wrong-on-our-end
All browsers were the same.
The problem went away and has not returned since I uninstalled Avast.
If I want to re-install Avast, how do I tweek it to allow me to use that page?
