I just need an "avast for dummies" answer - I use Auslogics registry cleaner, and the registry & disc defraggers - Avast is blocking my updates for these programs, I tell it to create an "exception", but I still can't update them...can someone explain HOW I can get these programs to be ignored by Avast?? (I am NOT tech savvy, so simple explanations, please lol)

You don't say what Avast Program and version/build number you are using ?
Where are you making this exception ?
