Can I Keep My Passwords After Resetting Windows 10
« on: October 31, 2021, 06:35:22 PM »
Because of some startup issues on my laptop, I plan to reset my Windows 10 operating system.  I have the option of keeping my personal files, but I  will lose all applications that did not come with Windows 10.    I am using the free version of Avast.  I exported the passwords to a file with a ".json" extension, so I expect I will be able to keep that file after resetting Windows.   Will I have to manually re-enter all my accounts and passwords after reinstalling Avast?   Can I import the .json file and restore all my passwords in Avast?  Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Just as you were able to export, you can also import.
So the answer is yes.
