Hello members. :)

Do anyone know if you could turn of different messages in free Avast Antivirus.I know its free and thats maybe something i have to take but it feels kind of silly when i often get Avast messages like, anyone could use your ip adress or send spam to you when Avast itself already is doing this. Thanks for any help. :)

No, it is the cost of free.  For the most part it is reporting fact (this could happen), but used to promote other Avast paid products to prevent it.

I have been using Avast Free for over 17 years and I don't find the volume excessive, perhaps I have a higher tolerance and possibly don't get as many as new users might (it seems to slow down).

Some I just have a laugh at, some I just thing so what, I know my IP is visible (if I was concerned I would use a free VPN that they are trying to sell me), but I'm not unduly concerned.

I recently tried a free VPN for just over a week, but I have since uninstalled it.
