While scanning through the memory test when avast! started, a virus was found in memory -- a trojan executable file in a folder called C:/Program Files/Timesink. However, I can't delete the file, rename it, or otherwise get rid of it. I was able to move the entire folder and its contents it to my trash bin, but when I try to empty the trash bin it won't delete that executable file.
The error message tells me that access to the file is forbidden.
Any clues how I can purge my system of this infection?
Thanks.
David
