Web Shield
« on: October 31, 2021, 03:03:44 PM »

My avast mobile security says i have an unresolved issue, it states that my web shield is off. When i select enable it states I should open accessibilty settings and turn on the switch. under accessibilty there are a number of options, i assumed i should open "installed services", under this setting "avast mobile security" is enabled, this doesnt seem to fix the issue. there does seem to be another option called "malware uninstaller" and then in brackets it also says avast. I just wanted to check that this in fact avast and not some type of malware. Will selecting this fix the issue.

Many thanks

I would guess that you have a Samsung phone, Android 10 or 11 and probably not using the Chrome Browser.

If so I had been fighting the issues and had to switch to Chrome as my default browser to have sites scanned.
