How can I find out if the threat is false positive?
« on: November 17, 2021, 06:14:04 PM »
Avast Mobile Security detects malwares in the four bottom listed items. Each of the items offers two choices: 1. solve the problem through deactivation or 2. ignore the problem. I cannot deactivate them in the settings. I don´t want ignore the problems. I tried to scan smartphone through AVG Antivirus, which didn´t find any problem. I cannot locate these files in folders of my smartphone. How should I find out if the threat is really dangerous or is only false positive? Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your message. I cannot locate affected files in folders - my phone is not rooted and some folders can be hidden, I only found one file of them (WMService.apk), I tried to copy it to another folder and the Avast warned, that it contains Evo-Gen Virus. I will try to send it to Avast through the form.  Thank you for your help.

I hope that the file was sent (I did it twice and got not confirmation that the "infected" file passed through).
