Easy to use is just one aspect, but how does it get on with grc's shields up and the firewall leaktests, etc.

GRC result
Quote
Solicited TCP Packets: PASSED — No TCP packets were received from your system as a direct result of our attempts to elicit some response from any of the ports listed below — they are all either fully stealthed or blocked by your ISP. However . . .

Unsolicited Packets: PASSED — No Internet packets of any sort were received from your system as a side-effect of our attempts to elicit some response from any of the ports listed above. Some questionable personal security systems expose their users by attempting to "counter-probe the prober", thus revealing themselves. But your system remained wisely silent. (Except for the fact that not all of its ports are completely stealthed as shown below.)

Ping Reply: RECEIVED (FAILED) — Your system REPLIED to our Ping (ICMP Echo) requests, making it visible on the Internet. Most personal firewalls can be configured to block, drop, and ignore such ping requests in order to better hide systems from hackers. This is highly recommended since "Ping" is among the oldest and most common methods used to locate systems prior to further exploitation.

Neal does it work with Vista as their blurbs fail to mention compatible OS's
System Requirements:
Safety.Net works on Microsoft Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 and XP platforms, and operates with any compliant Proxy Server or Network Address Translation (NAT) gateway from any provider.

Hope that helps.  :)

Alright, I was going to try out NetVeda's firewall and see how that work but after reading some of the reviews on snapfiles.com about how some people had some bad issues with that firewall on their pc I think I am going to scan over the other firewalls in this thread. If I get desperate enough I'll just have to give Comodo a chance.

I am trying out OA free firewall. I put NetVeda on back burner for now. So far I like OA. I do believe it's lighter on resources than Comodo. Very user friendly. Will keep it for abit and see how I like it. I am using it with WinXP.

I'm thinking about trying out OA as well. One of the major reasons why I do not want to use Comodo is becuase of how much CPU usage it takes up. I'm on WinXP as well. I suppose it's time to find OA online and uninstall Kerio Sunbelt Firewall unfortunately. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Just see the limitations of the free version...

So, OA was a no go. It ended up blocking me from being able to surf the web period. I couldn't even access google.com...nothing period. Let's see what's next on the list, shall we? =/

So it looks like it blocked ashWebSv.exe, but it should have asked permission and you may not have realised what it was an blocked it. Just ensure that it allows ashWebSv.exe, Web Shield, internet access.
