This is enough! stop bothering me with your optional services, i already paid for premiun service, 10 devices and i WONT resub again, i am sick and tired of your annoying publicity, slowdowns on my computer because my avast premiun antivirus runs the cleaner and then tells me to BUY it...

this is really disgusting, and constant adds... i should just have gotten the free antivirus so i could leave this terrible service that Avast has become now. I'll have to wait another 9 months of this crap until my subscription expires.

Really angry with you Avast... i PAID ALREADY, STOP FRE$&%#" BOTHERING MY 10 DEVICES - ALL OF MY FAMILY - to useless and other services i CHOSE NOT to buy because i dont want them (they suck btw) ...  >:( >:( >:(

Check the Avast User Interface > Menu Settings > General > Personal Privacy - uncheck any Avast promotions, 3rd party promotions, etc.

I have to put up with this as I'm an avast free user, but I feel these options should be disabled by default for paid users.

first, thank you for your suggestion-

i have uncheck everything. problem is : my computer suddenly starts slowing down, and for quite some time... then i get a pop up, "optimize computer and stuff" so after running that SLOW big test (10+ minutes... at least) , i get a big add "buy it" ??? same thing with the anti track... and VPN... this is unaceptable, i paid for a sibscription, so why i get adds and worse yet, a big impact on my computer perfomance... playing a game ans suddendly everything starts slowing down, i get killed... alt tab "whats going on"? no windows update... NO, its avast cleanup doing his thing whenever it feels like it and then telling me to buy the product.

dont buy the premiun... stick to free. at least its free! i feel like a sucker.  is this an android game that even if you buy it you get adds?...

Hi,

Please consider using "Silent mode" https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Antivirus-popup-notifications/ and "Do not Disturb" mode https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Use-Antivirus-Do-Not-Disturb/

Remove the Cleaner component. It's not mandatory to be protected from any viruses or threats, and such kinds of auto-cleaners are notorious in ANY software, not just Avast, for being annoying, slowing down computers, and sometimes removing what you actually didn't ask it to.

Plus, some cleaners can break your system registry, if they also clean it up too. So never use any cleaners on your computer if you don't want to break it, in general.

And for Avast, yes, the cleaner is unnecessary and annoying. I never used it, and I'd recommend you to avoid using it as well, considering it causes so many problems for you anyways. Just remove the component and you'll be fine.

Like many other components, they can be removed if not required, so a custom install is my preference and I do a Minimal install with a couple of other components.  See attached.
