« on: October 10, 2007, 11:10:22 AM »
hi all,

i have a win32 application written with delphi.
my exe files are compressed and protected with protection plus (www.softwarekey.com)

this morning, my customers called me and they told me my program is not running.
some customer use avast and some use nod32 antivirus.

avast reports my exe files are infected Win32:NoTime virus. but nod32 doesn't report that.
my program was working very well until new version of avast.

i think there is a problem causes avast.
how can i solve this problem

yes.. i know about this problem.. i'm working on a fix, but i must test if the (general) change made to main detection module affects other particular detections someway.. anyway, the problem will be solved with next VPS... your customers could add the files to exclusions list temporarilly...

your customers could add the files to exclusions list temporarilly...
For the Standard Shield provider (on-access scanning):
Left click the 'a' blue icon, click on the provider icon at left and then Customize.
Go to Advanced tab and click on Add button...

For the other providers (on-demand scanning such as the screen-saver or the Simple User Interface):
Right click the 'a' blue icon, click Program Settings.
Go to Exclusions tab and click on Add button...

You can use wildcards like * and ?.
But be careful, you should 'exclude' that many files that let your system in danger.
