outlook 2003 text missing when replying

Hi~ I just switched from AVGfree to Avast yesterday.  So far I seem to like it.  I especially like that I don't have to do a scheduled scan everyday.

Anyway my problem is that since installing avast when I reply to an email the original text is missing. The header info is there from the sender but their message is not.  My outlook settings are set to "include original message text when replying". 
Is there something in the avast program that I'm missing?
Any ideas how to fix this would be great.

avast shouldn't block the email program to do its job... I use Outlook Express or Windows Mail (and Thunderbird from time to time). No problems with forwarding.
