Fixing Performance Issues In Avast Premium Security
« on: December 03, 2021, 01:02:18 AM »
Apologies if someone has already asked this question and I didn't find it in my brief search.  I downloaded and installed Avast Premium Security earlier today and, upon completion of the installation, I ran a scan.  The scan turned up performance issues that Avast said could be slowing down my computer.  I reviewed the issues listed and, while I'm okay with fixing most of them, there are some I don't want to fix.  However, I don't see a way to select issues to fix individually, only a button labeled Remove All.  Is there, in fact, a way to individually select issues for repair? Thanks for any help!

As an avast free user I don't know if Avast Premium includes the paid version of avast Cleanup (I think not), in which case this could well be promoting the paid service.

I would suggest that you check the Avast UI > Menu > General > Personal Privacy settings and uncheck those that you don't what to be notified of.  e.g. be offered other Avast products etc.
