Blue screen in aswTdi.sys
« on: October 13, 2007, 09:07:05 PM »
system specs:
AMD 3200+ (OC'd to 2.6ghz, but stable over 5 day reboots)
ASUS An8i deluxe MB
1g generic ram
LTB USB headphones, built in sound
Nvidia 7600GT by PNY, non OC'd

Tried just doing some time waster game and it BSOD'd, was either animation or sound, but, no memory dump, already checked to make sure it can do that.
Seen that a lot on here, but, can we sort by dates?

What version of avast are you using, the latest is 4.7.1043.

There was a program update some time ago.

Version 4.6.739

    * added a workaround to a small bug in NetBios (might have even caused blue screens in aswTdi.sys)

Is there an entry in windows event viewer (possibly not) about this ?
If so please post the text.

If you have a lot of .dmp files in the minidump folder, just click on the Date Modified column heading to sort by date (toggles to newest or oldest).
