recommended (delete\chest)

hello,

i allways aske myself when i get the warning message from avast about virus\warm etc
what to do move to chest or delete it the avast recommended action is move to chest
and i wonder why? if i delete it it shold delete the virus from my system?
can someone explain me if i do right when i click delelte in every virus warning
or shold i move it to chest and what is the next action? i mean i can make a list of 50 viruses in
my chest every 4 weeks ?

you should move viruses to the chest just incase there is a problem you can restore
it from the chest if you delete it then you can't restore it incase of trouble
then after a few weeks if all is ok then you can delete it from the chest
sometimes there can be a false postive and find something thats part of windows os
or a program then that program or the pc woin't work right

First do not harm: Chest is wiser and safer than directly deletion.
The 'next' action is wait some days, maybe 10, right click the file into Chest, confirm it is infected with a new virus database (VPS), then delete. I suppose after 10 days your computer will be working ok without that particular file 8)

That is a high number of virus/malware detections.

If I were getting 50 virus detections every 4 weeks I would be reviewing my security practice and or browsing habits - filter emails at source, delete from server rather than download them, review the sites they visit, etc.

Are these viruses from emails, p2p, browsing, etc. when do these alerts occur ?
