General stability

I'm having all kinds of crashing problems. I've disabled the memory scan (and that's bad) - but Avast still crashes.
Most recently VRDB has caused problems - It was running during my screensaver and I interrupted it - I had to reboot before i could run anything else at that point.
Please work on stability.

You are right that currently available version of avast! version 4 has stability problems when working in Windows 9x,ME environment. We have done some workaround to avast! to resolve it - it will be available in the next program update.
