I strongly suggest to ignore such "homemade" YT tests, most of the guys have no idea what they're talking about.

I enjoyed doing some malware testing today, and Avast Free, with file protection turned off to simulate zero-day attacks, did just fine.  Only with the exploit recognized and eliminated was it necessary to restart the PC, but after the restart the PC was perfectly functional and clean.  After the tests the PC is clean and fully functional and all malware eliminated. 
Excellent performance of Avast Free.
