Does the uninstall utility actually work?

Hello,

I want to know if the uninstall utility works or has been tested.
Please make sure: after rebooting(uninstall success), Windows Defender antivirus does not say you are using a third-party app and just says Windows Defender antivirus is on.

No, I did not uninstall it yet but I still plan to install the "free" edition of Avast, so I want to know.

I've used it many times on most versions including Avast One. Yes, it works.

If you're using Windows 10 and above, when you uninstall any third party AV, Windows Security (Defender)
engages.
