How do I know if my computer has SSE2 support?

Step1. Go to https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Uninstall-Antivirus-Utility/
Step2. Click on the SSE2 link in "NOTE:For computers based on old processors without SSE2 support, download the following file:"
Step3. Follow the instructions for "How can I tell which Intel Instruction Set Extensions my system has?"

I am not using Intel, I am using Lenovo.

This refers to the CPU (Central Processing Unit) and nothing to do with Lenovo (which is a product not the CPU), it may or may not have an Intel CPU.  Other CPUs will also support these instruction sets.

If you have a relatively new system then the CPU will almost certainly support SSE2 instruction set, which is relatively old.

My laptop is over 4 years old and that supports it and more recent instruction sets.

My hardware fully supports Windows 11, and Windows 11 has some requirements based on processors. Also my computer isn't older than 4 years. Does this mean my processor supports SSE2?

Can you tell if this works with SSE2?

Windows 11 requires SSE2. If your machine can run Win11, then your CPU supports SSE2.
