vbs File
« on: December 15, 2007, 09:43:38 PM »
Keep getting this error in my Event Log:C:"\Documents and Settings\My Name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\ZYW713DB\AmsScript[1].vbs [E] Access is denied (5)"

Should I be concerned? I am asking because it is a script file. It cannot be deleted or renamed. Just started getting the error and warnings a few days ago.

You can clean your internet temporary files.
Error 5 is, as written, access denied. Maybe you can run avast at boot time to have access of it. Where are you seeing this info? On Windows Events or on avast logs?

Saw error in both places. Finally was able to delete in Safe Mode. Hope it is not a necessary file. Does anyone know if it is malware?

It shouldn't be... as it won't be placed on temporary files folder.

Does anyone know if it is malware?
You could have copied to another (safe) folder and submit it to VirusTotal to scan it...

In Safe Mode? Strange? Was the browser (IE) closed?

Sorry, I did not mean I could not copy it in  Safe mode, after I went into Safe Mode I just deleted it.
